My wife was diagnosed with Wet AMD (age related macular degeneration) last August (07). Since then we have tried to persuade the North Staffs PCT to fund Lucentis treatment (which is recognised as the best and most likely successful treatment) for her condition. We are still trying to persuade them to fund the treatment. Are there any other people out there experiencing similar problems? We could exchange notes and ideas perhaps?
