"Useless (update)"

Had blood 3 April 2017, contacted by mch they said it down to the medway maritime hospital, the lab told me the only way to be sure the tests are done are to go to a private hospital, as the medway undertakes a lot of blood tests and some patients bloods just don't get done, contacted the local CCG, letter sent to the chairman of the doctor, reply said whilst the medway CCG funds nhs services for medway, we are not responsible for investigating complaints regarding the provision of these services. Pass the buck more like, they spend the money but couldn't careless about the services it pays for. So it seems blood test are a lottery at the medway maritime hospital. They choose who gets tests and who don't. Remember I was told by the hospital, going private is the only way to be sure your tests are done.Andy

Thank you for taking the time to feedback. We can confirm that all blood tests that are taken at MCH house and our other clinics are collected and taken to Medway Hospital pathology lab. Medway Hospital is a separate organisation to MCH and the services which we run, but if you have any feedback about our blood test clinics please don’t hesitate to contact our customer care team on medwaycustomercare@nhs.net or 01634 334 650.
