About: University Hospital Wishaw / Maternity Care (Wards 21-24)

(as the patient),

I had my first baby 7 wk ago and have been very impressed with the support, advice and professionalism of the Infant Feeding Team at Wishaw General Hospital. I have spoken to and met with several members of the team can't recommend the service highly enough. Additionally my baby had a tongue tie which was diagnosed and dealt with quickly and efficiently at the breastfeeding clinic. The infant feeding team's support has been invaluable enabling me to feel comfortable and confident breastfeeding my son. Thank you for this fabulous service.

Thank you so much for sharing your positive comments in regards to the breast feeding team here at Maternity Services in Lanarkshire.

It is wonderful to hear of the excellent professional support you were given not only in the hospital but also after discharge at the breastfeeding clinic. I am glad this helped to help you feel confident with feeding your son.

Our breastfeeding clinic only started in November so the fact that this has been helpful in identifying and dealing with your sons tongue tie is lovely to hear.

Please be assured that I will pass your kind comments on to the team who will be delighted knowing they have been able to offer you support with your breast feeding.

I hope you are enjoying your time as a new mum and not getting too many sleepless nights.
