My young daughter was rushed in via ambulance. Firstly the paramedics were absolutely paramount, they were attentive, friendly and made her feel at ease which was impossible in the situation. The nurse in the paediatric ward was fantastic, in fact as soon as the situation worsened they rushed my child to rususation. All doctors were great in the situation, made me feel calm and my child was at ease. The doctors and nurses in the ward went beyond the norm and at no point were patronising. The best bit about the child ward was the play team, two lovely staff members who run the play team on merely on donations and fundraising (I found out) which they do themselves, were two of the most friendliest genuine people I have ever met. They gave my child presents and made sure she was having fun in the play room. Even just having there friendly faces around the ward changed the atmosphere immensely.
