"Recent birth of my daughter"

About: Royal Hampshire County Hospital / Maternity care

I gave birth to my baby daughter this week and after a beautiful waterbirth I unfortunately experienced a postpartum haemorrhage. The medical staff on that day were truely amazing. They remained calm and not only looked after me but my husband too as it was an experience that we could have done without, and we shall never forget.

The staff on the antinatal ward are all excellent professionals, extremely friendly and I cannot say enough good things about them. The postnatal ward is busy and may seem slightly understaffed but the care the staff afford to people is outstanding. I'm leaving this review as I want anybody who is contemplating where to give birth that this hospital is truely excellent and you will be in safe hands for your delivery. Thank you

Thank you for your feedback on our maternity services and congratulations on the birth of your baby. I am always delighted to read heartfelt comments, like yours, on the care and treatment patients and their families have received. I have shared your kind words with the team, who I am sure, will be delighted and greatly encouraged by them.
