"Maternity ward"

I want to say a massive thankyou to the maternity team at yeovil hospital especially my consultant. The consultant is absolutely amazing, I had a planned csection on the 30th March & was lucky enough to have my consultant perform it. The operation went fine however I started bleeding quite badly after. The consultant dealt with the situation so quickly & efficiently that I have no doubt prevented me having to be reoperated on to have a possible hysterectomy. The procedure they carried out was apparently quite rare and not many of the team had ever seen it performed, it was purely down to their experience & super quick thinking that things didn't go alot worse. The whole team were amazing and I feel I probably owe them my life. Our midwife was so lovely and calming & explained everything every step of the way. They really did help up us & is a credit to the team. Every person I encountered in my stay was generally amazing with how they dealt with things and how reassuring they were I can't remember all the names of the midwifes ect that helped me but want to express my gratitude to every member of the maternity team. My little boy was delivered safely & I've recovered great all thanks to this team, especially the consultant. Thankyou
