"My stay in Birch ward"

On the 10th March I was transferred from Whiston hospital to Birch ward to prepare to have a stent fitted later that day.

The level of care from the moment I arrived was absolutely incredible,

All the nurses cleaners and catering staff were outstanding unfortunately.

The nurse was so reassuring and confident at their job it put me so at ease, but then again so we're all the other nurses and doctors,

The surgeon and their team were a credit to their professions and did a brilliant job on a very nervous patient,

I did manage to thank all of the theatre team but unfortunately due to a cross over in shifts I couldn't personally thank the nurse and the other members of staff myself who cared for me,

So to you all a massive thank you and good luck to you all working at the best hospital ever,
