"Exemplary care at Ayrshire maternity unit."

In march 2017 my wife had a elective admission to Ayrshire maternity unit. I feel I must write to patient opinion to highlight the exemplary level of care that my wife received here. The care, compassion and dignity shown throughout my wife and son's short stay was fantastic, every single member of staff that we came into contact with including doctors, midwifes and support staff were extremely friendly and helpful at all times and I felt they were always prepared to go the extra mile to make patients, and relatives stays as safe, enjoyable and relaxed as possible. This however is not the first great encounter my wife and I have had here as we had our eldest son and our second son here, and we have also been visitors to other family and friends who have had their babies here and each time we have been it is clear how caring and compassionate your staff have been, they are all a great credit to our local maternity services and to the wider NHS. Keep up the great work everyone.
