"Appointment times at Clatterbridge Hospital, Wirral"

About: Clatterbridge Hospital

(as the patient),

I have just been for a flexible cystoscopy at Clatterbridge Hospital Day Centre. I was one of 12 gentlemen all there for the same clinic. We had all been given an appointment of 12.45pm. I was the penultimate examination and I was eventually seen at 3.45pm.

While it was nice to be able to spend three hours reading a book, my question is why did I have to? Surely it is not beyond the realms of possibility to stagger appointment times? I know some might not turn up or not be able to have the 'scope, but to have some of us waiting around all afternoon is a bit much.

I have no complaints about the service or staff, all were very professional, but please, think about the appointment times.
