I was brought in for induction on Monday 27th March and stayed on ward 11. All the staff were so professional and caring, anything I needed all I had to do was ask. I felt very looked after here and this had taken some of my anxiety of induction away. The day and night midwifes were so caring and genuine. On the evening of 28th I was taken down to delivery suite to have waters broken. The midwife who took me down is such a kind, helpful and professional midwife! We did have a small emergency when baby''s heartbeat dropped slightly but the midwife dealt with it brilliantly and I was given instant attention from all of the staff on delivery suite. Waters were broken effectively in the end and my daughter was born perfectly healthy at 1.54am. overall my experience of labour at James Paget was excellent, after having 3 previous births at a different hospital I was naturally anxious about delivering at a new hospital but I needn't have worried. Thank you to everyone and thank you most of all for your dedication and professionalism to your work. You made my experience such a nice one but as this is baby number 4 I won't be back to do it all over again!
"Excellent care"
