I was a day patient earlier this week to have a minor ear operation.Surgery minor or otherwise is always daunting but at 76 it is stressful.
.I wish to pay tribute to all the lovely nurses in ward A301 at Broomfield hospital also the theatre staff who between them made my experience much less fearful.Thank you,

I agree that operations can be really daunting. We are so proud of our teams in theatres who do everything they can to make it less so.
