"referred on lung cancer pathway"

Was seen with 2 weeks including having chest CT scan see in clinic by consultant who was open honest and frank.

Lucky I didn't have cancer but do have a very rare disease which had already been picked up by Kings in 2012.

This time I was referred to Guys as they are doing research that my conditions fits.

I was also told that should I have any further worries I could contact the consultants secretary to arrange a throat endoscopy if I believed I coughed up blood.

I felt secure and well treated by Kings a very busy hospital in the middle of the inner city in an area were there are pockets of extreme poverty.
