About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow

(as the patient),

I have noticed that during the 5 admissions I have had since 8th December I have never been able to access any of the web links to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital - they always time out. Is there a problem with the connection between patient wi- if and these sites. The issue occurs no matter if I use Safari, Chrome or Firefox. I am using an IPad. I am trying to find details of how to use the discharge pickup points. E. g. What facilities are there and directions to suitable pick up point for my family.

Many thanks

I work in a small team within NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde. Part of the team’s role is to support patients and carers through our feedback systems which will help to improve the services we provide. On Patient Opinion, I support Lorna Gray, Patient Experience Public Involvement Project Manager, and Niall McGrogan, Head of Patient Experience Public Involvement.

Dear Scottish NHS User

Thank you for taking the time to post on Patient Opinion. I am sorry to read about your difficulties in accessing the internet via wifi whilst in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

I have shared your feedback with our IT Department and we will come back to you here with an update.

Best wishes
Lisa
