"The information online needs updating"

About: Locala Community Partnerships CIC / Breastfeeding Support

(as the patient),

I've been really disappointed in the health visiting service run by Locala. Firstly my 6-8 week 'visit' was an unplanned call at 8. 30 in the morning. I was barely awake at that time so didn't ask all the questions I wanted to. I have a friend who also had her 'visit' as an unplanned call at 8. 30. She has 3 children and was trying to get out for the school run!

Secondly, I've been disappointed with the breastfeeding support available. I attended one of the health visitor drop ins for advice (as described on the Locala website) but was told they couldn't help as they are nursery workers and not health visitors.

The information online needs updating so that Locala aren't misleading people about the services provided.

My role at Locala is to listen to service users and understand how it feels to use our services. I report back to services and managers. I support to make change where needed. I really enjoy my job. Making a difference is important to me!
