My stay in Westmorland General was short but very very sweet. I had a T.H.R. after waiting a number of years (my fault not theirs) and the efficiency, care and understanding, pre-op info and post op support was amazing. The food, could I have eaten it (again my fault not theirs) is tasty, nourishing and excellent to be honest. More like restaurant than hospital food with damn good cups of tea too!
I often sleep badly but with a cup of tea or two in the middle of the night is much appreciated.
Nothing is too much trouble. I am due a knee replacement soon and will again opt for Westmorland General. I don't really want to say all this as it will increase the waiting lists at this hospital!!!
