I initially went to a private dentist because my TMJ had caused two of my molars to crack and chip off. The dentists put in a filling 3 times but each time the filling came out because of my jaw problem. I went to this NHS unit hoping they could solve the problem with the jaw. I was asked by the doctor why I even bothered coming. In hindsight, I don't know why I even bothered going . The doctor basically told me that I wasted my time. While I was there I saw several young girls getting cosmetic dentistry done on the NHS. If you have a Jaw problem, I wouldn't recommend even bothering to go to this unit. You are better off going to a private doctor that might have the expertise to look at the problem.
