"A nurse held her hand and made her feel very safe."

About: Royal Alexandra Hospital (Paisley)

(as a relative),

My mother is an elderly woman and very recently had to have a procedure in endoscopy. Which went very well.

When I returned to take her home she could not praise everyone enough. Our family were even more delighted when she told us that during her procedure a nurse in training, held her hand and made her feel very safe. She has been telling many of her friends about this "training nurse" and how friendly and caring she was and how nice everyone has been.

On behalf of my mother and family I just want to say a massive thank you, she was very anxious about the procedure and everyone down to the doctor she spoke to were fantastic. Excellent job!

Dear hyperrelative244

Thank you for sharing your mothers very kind words with us. It is always rewarding when family or carers take the time to share such positive comments. I will ensure that this is shared with the endoscopy team and in particular with the student nurse.

I hope that your mother is improving

Best wishes
