"Awful experience with Care Agency that caused tremendous stress"

This agency were engaged to care for my father who is extremely frail and prone to falls.

During their tenure, goods and money to the value of £20k+ were taken.

They supplied people who did not seem to care. They were paid a premium for "waking nights" but many of the carers who looked after my father just went to sleep - one of them to bed putting my fathers health at risk. He had an accident that night but the carer just slept through. The agency's reaction when I complained was just we'll remind them they need to stay awake. No apologies or remorse whatsoever,

Another carer wore earphones so they couldn't hear my father calling, another drank wine on duty (my father's) without his permission, cleared his wine rack out and hid the bottles in the garden refuse.

One carer was assigned and seemed to have no training whatsoever and it is evident that these carers were not adequately selected, trained or supervised.
