"Non joined up care."

Spent a week in local hospital in April 2016. Excellent care cannot be faulted although they were inundated with patients.

However since discharge they having discovered multiple problems (age 80) I have seen loads of DIFFERENT gp's at surgery.

Each has sent me for numerous blood tests. ct scans and chest x rays?

Feel that NO doctor knows me as a whole. only treating me for separate conditions, therefore repeating lots of time over the same tests?

I think this is a big problem in the NHS using assessment resources and time consuming tests.

In the "old days" you only saw your own gp who did not have to be told your symptoms because he had all your details together.
