"Was made an appointment here after ringing 111"

About: Peterlee Community Hospital / General surgery

I rang 111 on a Sunday morning and they made me an appointment at this hospital as it was the nearest one open to me. I was seen fairly quickly seen as though it was very busy when I arrived. All the staff I spoke to were friendly but I can't thank one of the practice nurses enough. They thoroughly examined me and didn't rush me and listened to my problems I've never experienced anyone more friendly and lovely than they were and as a person who gets very anxious when needing to visit the doctors etc I've never felt more reassured before. I would visit her every time I have a problem if I could she really was amazing.

Could you please confirm if this was the hospital or GP practice at Peterlee so we can pass your comments to the appropriate staff.

Kind regards Patient Experience Team, University Hospital of North Tees
