"The staff were very attentive"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Accident & Emergency

(as the patient),

Wrist broken after a fall.  I was seen very quickly at A&E.  I was operated on the next day.  The staff on Ward 61 were very attentive.  I felt cared for and valued and staff were most helpful and cheerful.  I felt that there could be more information given to the patient.

Dear SteviB66

Thank you for taking the time to post on Patient Opinion. I am sorry to read about the broken wrist you had following a fall. I am however glad to read about how you felt about the care you received at A&E and in Ward 61. I will share your post with the General Managers for the Emergency Department and Ward 61 in the Glasgow Royal Infirmary, staff will be delighted to receive your feedback.

I hope your wrist is now healing well.

Best wishes
Lisa

My main contact in ward 61 was J Currie who was excellent in carrying out the numerous duties which I observed.
