I stayed at the Northern General Hospital on the Accident & Emergency ward. I was not too keen about the cleanliness after seeing one mattress which was only half cleaned with solution after the patient left. Only the marked area was cleaned, not the top, the bottom, nor the sides were touched. Also the dirty polystyrene cups and tissues were removed and no hands were washed afterwards.
