"Poor quality food at doncaster royal infirmary hospital"

About: Doncaster Royal Infirmary

(as the patient),

I stayed on Chatsfield ward at the Doncaster Royal Infirmary and was treated for myelofibrosis. I have had first class treatment in all departments and cannot praise the services enough. I was treated promptly with kindness and respect.

The only complaint that I have is with regards to the food, which is poor and not well balanced and at times salad and vegetables are not fresh, cheap white bread is not acceptable. No choice of juice, only orange. Dried mashed potatoes which had a strange flavor and seem to have been the same type since at least 2001 when i first experienced them. Where is the dietitian?

I would like to thank the nursing staff and Dr Cook, Dr Chacko and nursing staff on Cardiology. Also Dr Al-Najar - Gastroenterology.
