"They know where you are on the surgery list but..."

Surgery booked. Told to be in at 7.40 am. Ask when my theatre trip is due. Told don't know by everyone. Nonsense - they know the theatre order!

Rushed into hospital gown and paper pants yet still sitting with no communication at 1pm. Could have stayed in own clothes until later. Could have been kept informed. Don't mind waiting if I know where I am in the theatre order but the 'don't knows' start to feel like untruths after a while. It is easier for the staff if Ian dressed in my paper pants st 8.00 am. My comfort and dignity are irrelevant. Shocking!
