I suppose I've reached that stage in life where bits go wrong. I've had treatment and hospital stays in gastroenterology, urology, cardiology & most recently, neurology.
I am currently waiting for treatment in ENT. I seem to have done the rounds in the last 5 years or so and every time my experience & outcome has been excellent.
A few years back, I was a member of a private medical scheme provided by my then employer and I do not believe that private treatment was in any way superior to that provided by the NNUH & the NHS. Indeed, some of the treatment I've had, I would only trust the NHS to do it.
I have nothing but praise for the NNUH staff, the modern facilities and the medical advice & treatment given. Having had a recent disappointing experience of a elderly mother-in-law requiring frequent hospital treatment in another part of the country, I can confidently say
I don't think we realise how lucky we are in Norfolk to have access to the NNUH.
