My 93 year old father went into hospital and transferred to Yellow Bay B47 the following day, where he remained for four weeks. He was suffering from a very severe infection which caused extreme confusion and was so severe that he was given a 50% chance of survival. Without exception the staff treated my father with kindness, compassion and skill and were always willing to give us the time to answer any of our questions. It was evident that the staff worked closely as a team, supported each other and enjoyed their jobs, which was transmitted to the patients. Due to the excellent care my father is making a slow but steady improvement and is now back at home. Thank you to all staff on the ward.
