After seeing a consultant on the plastic surgery outpatient clinic I was referred for surgery on my left hand..
I was admitted to ward 39.
On arrival the nurses were brilliant, they explained everything in great detail.
I spoke with my consultant and anaesthetist as I was having a regional block.
They explained everything which helped me relax a little.
I was then taking through.
I can honestly say that the time and effort and patience that all the staff had for me was brilliant!
You did everything brilliantly and even made a few jokes to make me laugh.
I was awake through the whole of my surgery and it we went really well.
The staff were great throughout the whole procedure.
Even to the point when I was taking back to the ward and was allowed to relax until I was allowed to go home.
I would recommend the R.V.I to anyone especially if you are really nervous.
Thank you again to everyone involved.
To the man on reception, the nurses all the doctors,, everyone.
