Thank you for all the professional care you have given me over the past few months ,The City General ,The Royal Infirmary and the Glenfield Hospital all in Leicester have been supportive and caring over my Sarcoma scar weeks before Christmas .l rolled over in bed one morning and felt a lump that was alien to me the Three hospitals worked together and did all the tests ultra sound LGH then a team meeting an out of hours call for an MRI scan at the Leicester Royal Infirmary plus a call for a Biopsy at the Glenfield Hospital . All this was going on in my world before Christmas 2016 and we were all in bits . A phone call from the Consultant's secretary whilst shopping in Rugby asked if l could see the Consultant on the 23rd of December for some results in the Fracture Clinic .My husband and l were so worried at what we would be told .On the day we sat waiting and in walked the Consultant in a Christmas jumper and every day clothes like any person in the street
They are a Consultant that is caring for people.that had life threatening illnesses
They opened the Door called my name and said Don't Worry it's good news they didn't want us going through Christmas worrying when the Tumour was benign not malignant as we thought.
So NHS you have been great for me thank you. With so much bad publicity about waiting times and the NHS you deserve a positive review you got it right for me .Lynn
