I can't thank the Macular Degeneration Unit enough for the care and attention you have given to my father over the last three years.
Last year, was a very difficult time for our family, with my brother being extremely ill at QMC and the less than optimum care, treatment and communication around his illness. I had lost my faith in NUH and the nursing and medical profession that I have contributed myself for the last forty years.
Although my father is now partially sighted, our experiences could have been much worse without your dedication and expertise. The clinic has improved over the years and is getting a more "Lean" approach. I picked up at clinic reception.
My family and I are truly grateful for the level of care you have been able to administer to my father, we're also grateful for the time you have taken over the years for us to understand my fathers condition.
It has been a great comfort.
