I've just been diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder by the Suffolk Adult Autism Service. I just wanted to thank the team at the Suffolk Adult Autism Service for their help. The process has been long, and for me quite traumatic - but the team have been very supportive and understanding. The initial consultations were carried out in a very caring way, and the subsequent two hour face to face assessment by Colm was friendly, informal and carried out in a quiet and visually neutral environment. Colm made me feel very comfortable, and followed up with a telephone call. Once I have my written diagnosis and report I will be invited back for a further session to discuss Colm's findings.
