"Confusion over appointments at Chase Farm"

I can't fault the medical care provided by Chase Farm and have the greatest regard for the care and attention I've received. However, I'm not very impressed by the administration side of the trust. I know a new computer system has recently been installed but really do think they should have ironed out any problems before rolling out the new system. It's not uncommon to receive 3 separate letters confirming the same appointment, both my Mum and I have experienced this on a couple of occasions. I recently was invited to make an appointment which was confirmed by post. I then received a 2nd letter which gave a different date & time but no mention of the original appointment being canceled. After numerous attempts I got through to appointments only to be told that the time on my 2nd appointment had been changed. I explained the letter had only just arrived and I was told a new letter was being sent out. Yet more expense. What a terrible waste of money.
