"Give CUH a break....much improved hospital"

About: Croydon University Hospital

We had to have blood tests this morning....went prepared with reading materials as we were expecting a lengthy wait....pleasantly surprised to find that there was no wait...the staff very professional and friendly....it was clear they enjoy their jobs....very reassuring! Hospital was very clean and well presented.

Dear Frazer

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of the blood testing service at Croydon University Hospital and I am pleased that you didn't have a long wait and that you didn't need your reading materials! Thank you also for your comments about the cleanliness of the hospital.

The Phlebotomy Department is very responsive to the feedback they receive from patients and they strive to offer the best patient experience possible. Several improvements have been made in recent months. These include:

- Improved reception area

- New furniture in the clinical area

- Improved Customer Care (feedback from the Mystery Shopping Programme)

Thank you once again, and I shall pass your comments to the staff as it will mean a lot to them.
