"Confusion over scan and results"

About: Royal Bolton Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

l was admitted to RBH with chest pains, on completion of my treatment, l was told l could go.

The day before, l was told by a junior doctor that there is something shown on a scan l had six months before.

l got to know about the scan l was told by the junior doctor l would be visited by a surgeon, I think l went into shock.

l did get a visit from a surgeon, l was told they would tell their boss of the examination l had during their visit.

The day when l was to go home l was visited by a surgeon, who explained the scan and advised that l should have an endoscpy, the endoscopy was carried out within a couple of days, l was told there was no tumours and ever thing was clear, even now l still wake up thinking of that day l was told, following a out patients l was told and given the all clear, anther four weeks of waiting.

l have been a patient at the R B H on several occasions as a in patient and been Cleared of any tumers or anything sinister?

My response and question the system,is l don't accept it should take six month to get a result of a scan, l would think there is a kink in the system and would think it should be straightened out?
