"Couldn't have been better cared for"

About: Queen Alexandra Hospital / Clinical oncology

My wishes to be cared for by my husband where possible was respected.

The staff I came into contact with were all polite and helpful. The wards and most areas were very cleaned.

The carpet in the oncology radiotherapy department waiting area is, I am sorry to say, disgusting.

It is very badly stained and lets the hospital down.

At the very least it needs a good clean.

We are there at a time when we are very low and deserve better. The carpet is\ a minor thing I would not have had treatment any better anywhere

Dear Linda

I am very pleased to note that your wishes were respected and that you found staff polite and helpful.

Please be assured that your comments regarding the carpet will be shared with the team concerned.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback at what must be a very distressing time for you.

Kind regards.

Debbie
