"Improve communication between shifts"

About: Locked & Specialist Rehab / Ashby Ward

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

There is good staff interactions on my ward. There are always things going on. I do think that there is a lack of communication between shifts and there is lack of interaction from the RC, we need more time with the RC and transitioning needs to be looked into because I am well over my due date.

Thank you for your comments. I will feed back to the team as we must get the communication right - right across the whole 24 hours, otherwise it becomes inconsistent and confusing for everyone. I will ask the Nurse manager to look at this issue in particular. There has been a recent change of RC so I hope that will improve things. The transitioning issue is areal challenge as so many people are involved at that stage - but please be assured, we advocate for you very strongly.

With best wishes Lynn
