My diabetes care at Royal Hallamshire Hospital is excellent from both doctors and nurses. However, I am very concerned about waiting around in corridors after the appointment time - three quarters of an hour is common.
Also, a great deal of money is wasted on beaurocracy. For my last appointment I received two phone calls to remind me plus two letters. One surely would be sufficient as I do not have Alzheimer's.
I have nothing but praise for the medical staff, but over the years I am so glad I do not have a car as parking is an absolute nightmare.
At certain times over the years they do not appear to have enough staff. I once had to wait for a doctor to come over from another hospital. However, this has improved,
"Excellent care but some concerns"
