"Bereavement office"

About: Stoke Mandeville Hospital

(as a relative),

My father died on a Thursday afternoon and there was no one at the bereavement office at Wycombe Hospital when I called the next day, the phone message said to call Stoke Mandeville office, it was mid afternoon before I managed to speak with someone, They were very nice but informed me that there wouldn't be anyone at that office until the following Tuesday, I found the whole experience draining and it made the death of my father far more difficult than it should have been. I related my experience to a few friends and to my horror discovered they had also had long delays. this is unacceptable, Your website talks about end of life care, where was my families?
