What I liked
My girlfriend gave birth in Southend Hospital almost a week ago and I have nothing but praise for all the staff involved. They were professional, had good bedside manners and made both her and myself feel relaxed and comfortable. We both agree that the wards were clean and comfortable, the staff, ranging from midwives and doctors to aftercare nursing staff were friendly and professional.
What could be improved
From my personal experience, I cannot fault the Maternity Unit or staff.
Anything else?
I would just like to say a massive thank you for all your help and care for my girlfriend and our newborn son and that the NHS deserve a lot more recognition for their abilities and hard work. Many thanks again for making our special day - special.
