What I liked
I was admitted to MAU, very clean, staff helpful, The Doctor was very reassuring and put me at my ease, felt informed of all decisions.
I was then transferred to Walnut ward, which was spotless with excellent nursing staff.
The Doctor there was very efficient and happy to answer any question I threw at them regarding results and care. Felt included in all decisions made.
I also had a ct scan and an echo, which I was told they were fully booked for, but at lunchtime, 2 lovely nurses wheeled in a mobile unit and did the echo at my bedside, again put at ease, very efficient.
I was very nervous and upset at the ct scan, but the staff in this unit were excellent, I had burst into tears, very embarrassing, but the staff did everything they could to reassure me, were absolutely wonderful to me, so many thanks to them.
All in all I felt very well taken care of, many thanks to all.
What could be improved
wi fi connections, not in wards, but possibly in the tv rooms.
Anything else?
All I can say is whenever we have visited Hinchingbrooke, we have been treated well, I had my 3 babies there in 1996, 2002 and 2005 and have been to A & E on a few occasions with our children and have been lucky enough to havehad good experiences with your hardworking staff.
