My mum passed away on 1st Oct at Leighton hospital. She'd had a skin complaint that had gotten extremely severe and she was treated in geriatrics on ward 14, for a month before she died.
Her care was fantastic. Everything was wonderful. We were allowed to stay with Mum all through her last night. The care she had and the kindness we were shown was wonderful - we couldn't have asked for better. The ward was clean, nothing more can be said. I even saw a lady cleaning at 11:30 at night.
You all tried so hard. Everyone in general was very good. However, Nurse Sue was amazing. Thank you so much.
