What I liked
My medical care was outstanding. I had the highest quality of care from my dental surgeon. All the nurses were reassuring, informative, really helpful and accommodating and did everything to put me at my ease. My dental op to remove a very tricky impacted wisdom tooth was done in the chair and my surgeon ensured that I had proper pain killers to cope afterwards. My needs were met at every stage. The risk involved was higher than normal for this operation. I was made aware of this at the consultation and we discussed the implications. I was reassured by the nurse that I was in the best hands, everything was fine. The staff were really good with the children patients. A nice touch was seeing one of the consultants having a thorough clean and disinfect around the reception area. Good team work between the medical staff. it seemed like a busy but happy place to work. The dental hospital is serviced by the free city bus.
What could be improved
There is a desk when you walk in but noone is ever there you have to walk through to the back before you find any one. I waited for about five minutes before I realised noone was going to come. The dental hospital is old fashioned and a little down at heel. the waiting area is a bit basic but I guess not everywhere can be state of the art. There's nowhere to park anywhere near.
