"A Hospital That Puts Friendly Face To Ill Health"

About: The Queen Elizabeth Hospital / Accident and emergency

Sent to A&E with severe flu like symptoms and spent 8 hours in A&E with the most caring junior doctor, nurses, care assistants ever. Every single person showed care and concern and worked tirelessly to finally diagnose malaria and organise immediate treatment. Follow up today in the superbly well organised and friendly Medical Diagnostic Centre. Between A&E and the centre I have been struck by the patient care and dignity all around me. Thank you to all the amazing teams.

Thank you for making the effort to post your comments about your experience of our Emergency services and the Treatment and Diagnostic Unit when you have obviously been through such a debilitating period of ill health. I am very glad to hear that although you spent a considerable time in the Emergency department, this led to an appropriate diagnosis and treatment and that all the staff made every effort to provide you with both professional care and a positive experience of being a patient. I will share your kind comments with all the staff involved in both departments. I hope that you are now on the road to recovery and are feeling much better.
