What I liked

I had both my children at this hospital not out of choice but because it is the nearest alternative is 45 minutes drive away. The midwives and doctors in the labour ward were fantastic as was special care (now closed).

What could be improved

The maternity ward was filthy on both occasions. For example, my husband had to clear away used tissues from on top of the bedside locker! Also, when he told the staff, who were sitting behind a desk chatting, that the anti-bac hand gel at the entrance was empty, none of them knew where to find some more.
