"inefficient pharmacy department Ninewells"

About: Ninewells Hospital

(as the patient),

I was subjected to a waste of a whole day waiting for a weeks supply of Dexamethasone tablets. At 9. 30/10am I was told that I'd to wait for the above pills from pharmacy.

The department closed at 12. 30 and they still hadn't arrived.

1. 50 it was suggested that I receive a prescription to take to a chemist -

This was thwarted because "my pills were being transported by a porter".

1. 50 the Ward Pharmacy assistant informed me I'd receive the perscription.

2. 30 it arrived. 40minutes to write this out!

4 pharmacists were out of stock, and I was only able to find my tablets at 5pm where they had to slice their pills for the correct weight.

I'm so angry with the inefficient pharmacy department at Ninewells for causing all this frustration.
