What I liked

From the time I arrived at Reception for my day procedure today i was given total care, respect and dignity by all staff. I had a nurse with me all the time, saw the anaesthetist and the surgeon both before and after my operation. The whole stay was explained very carefully and the treatment was first class.

What could be improved

I don't think anything could have been improved on the day. However, at my pre-assessment I was asked to bring pain relief tablets with me, which I found strange as I thought these would be provided on the day, depending on the level of need. Pain relief tablets were provided by the hospital following my operation.

Anything else?

My apprehension before my visit was addressed by all concerned on the day as I could not have asked for better treatment.
