On the 4th December my 16 year old daughter Becky was admitted with a severe viral and bacterial infection- she spent 8 days in hospital.
Every staff member we met was professional, caring and friendly.
From the ward cleaners to the tea and food staff we always received a friendly greeting making our stay in hospital much more homely.
The nurses who looked after my daughter were dedicated and caring, making her feel secure and confident she was well looked after.
Unfortunately I cannot remember all their names across both wards. I have to say every staff member who looked after Becky were amazing and kind during a worrying time.
I saw staff on both wards dealing with very challenging behaviour from other patients - always with unfailing kindness and professionalism.
Becky had many blood tests and canulas fitted, the fact that the staff were so expert and professional in all these procedures made it less traumatic for her.
All the staff treated us with kindness and respect, they are all a credit to your hospital.
