"How I think doctors should be"

About: Rotherham PCT

(as the patient),

I haven’t been in hospital recently, I’m nice and healthy! But I have learning disabilities and I think doctors should be:

1. Patient

2. Talk to both you and your carer

3. Friendly, they shouldn’t shout or be rude

I support the organisation in making sure that the voice of patients and the public is heard and used in planning services. This involves running events, managing surveys, and building networks with the local community.

Thank you for telling us about how doctors should be.

I will send this information to other staff here so that more people know what is important to people with learning disabilities
