"Good doctor-patient communication"

About: Rotherham PCT

(as the patient),

I thought my blood pressure had gone high. I was feeling a bit funny so I went to the doctors to check, to be on the safe. They’ve been brilliant. When the results came back they got in touch with me.

BP checks came back normal.

Good doctor-patient communication. Not only that, they’ve got a good bond with patients. They don’t give my medical notes to anyone unless it’s in my best interests. They talk to me about what they’re going to do before they do it.

I support the organisation in making sure that the voice of patients and the public is heard and used in planning services. This involves running events, managing surveys, and building networks with the local community.
