What I liked
Visited A&E with a minor complaint, but could only be done at A&E, and was directed there by GP. I was assessed within half an hour by a nurse, but then the waiting started. I left after an hour and finding out I was still 7th in the queue. The queue was going very slowly.
What could be improved
Waiting time needs to be improved, A&E require more resources for non-emergency treatment which cannot be done at a GP surgery.
Anything else?
More information for patients waiting in A&E as to how long it is going to take to get seen.
