"Great Care recived from Midwives at Basildon Hospital"

About: Basildon University Hospital

(as the patient),

I was 32weeks pregnant and diagnosed with Obstetric Cholestasis, which could potentially have been very harmful to myself and our baby. The care that I received from the Midwives at Basildon Hospital was phenomenal. They were really friendly and understanding, they also encouraged me to ask if I needed anything at all. From the observation stage right through to being discharged after giving birth and the care of our 7week premature baby I felt like an individual and NOT a number.

Still today when I go back for my daughter's checkups, the staff that cared for myself and our baby are really friendly and genuinely take an interest in our well being.

I would recommend the Hospital if you are wanting to receive wonderful care. Thank you.
